I confess, my favorite character in the Animated Series was M'Ress.  And the only time we ever saw her again after TAS went off the air was in a series of Peter David novels.(New Frontier).

I proclaim unconditional support for Cookie Monster, whatever his handle.

The concept of "hard sci-fi" can be good if it makes a writer work on making the science more believable, if that leads to a better story.  But the primary thing that makes SF worth reading or watching is the story.  If there is a good story, I don't get priggish about the "hardness" of the sci-fi.

A mere "like" is not enough.  Sirtis is Goddess.

It's always been hard for me to picture Fundamentalist English… I used to assume they dumped all their fundies into the USA, which is why we are so full of them.  I always pictured English people having a tasteful Anglican wedding.

They should have ended VOY by having Janeway and the Borg Queen plunge down an abyss together, inside a fire cave.  Oh, wait, they already did that in another series…

Fridays was actually not a bad show.  Trouble was, there was only room for one show like SNL, even if the shows ran on different nights.

I'll give you The Honeymooners/The Flintstones.  The others may be a stretch.

Mystery Science Theater 3000/Elvira's Movie Macabre.  Though MST3K is far superior.

Twilight Zone/Outer Limits.  Two of the best shows ever on television.
