@avclub-935f361fa2c753a8b94f28f3f94914cf:disqus , just wondering, do you still like the series? I mean you are the one of few commenters here who gives dissenting opinions about the show (and while I mostly disagree about it, they do have credibility). But sometimes, it feels that the points you make against the show

Someone on tumblr (where everything is up on Mako is fucking asshole, and Asami FEELS) suggested that LoK should have a Full Metal Panic Fumoffu season (which is basically filler, no main overarching plot or anything, but hilarious as hell), which could be really used to flesh out Republic City, and the characters

I guess the reason for the difference of bathing suits between two generations is the same reason why "The Beach" is one of AtLA's lesser episodes: the creators never really cared about the costume design of that episode (Ty Lee wearing a two piece that highlights her animated breasts - jailbait fanservice). It's like

@avclub-0fe01c8a5bcc308ca6bca874fd4caaab:disqus Agree with you except the detail on Korra and Bolin figuring it out. Bolin is still a novice at combative bending, and while Korra has mastered earthbending, we have not really seen her do it at an expert scale, like her firebending and waterbending. Of course, there is

Are there any good Avatar podcasts out there (cause I'd really love to listen)? So far I know Republic City Dispatch (which is improving), Dong Bu Feng Podcast (which is just a bunch of OMG THE FEELS, I DON'T LIKE THIS chortling of people who try to sound critical but utterly fail) and Avatar the Last Airbender Online

I've started watching Breaking Bad and after the events of an intense three episodes (culminating in Walt killing Krazy-8), the next episode, "Cancer Man" is more relaxed, laid back, and focuses more on family subplots rather than the much darker meth plot. "The Aftermath" is exactly that: giving us a breather after

I agree with the pace but it's something that I'm getting more used to (really, the episode had to: flesh out Asami who we have no idea about until now and by extension, had to show different sides of Republic City and reveal more about Amon's plans). I cannot express what this show could have been in 20 episodes

I think it's been said here a lot in the comments (and even heavily implied in the article), but it bears a special notice: You cannot expect a serial American (for the most part) TV show to have a "perfect" finale because of the way the series is produced. But since I know little about that, I'll just use another

What makes me believe that there's none (sadly) is that with last week's episode, even though they don't show previews, they do say that a new episode of Korra was coming. With this, they just showed a HILARIOUS preview of iCarly, followed by a new episode of Big Time Rush (don't ask me how I remember that info).

"Pema had some balls stealing Lin's man. Seriously though. How did she not fear for her life?"

This might be slightly bad news for some people here after that (can't put into words yet) half-hour, but I think Nick is going to have a slight hiatus with Korra, I mean they didn't say anything about any upcoming show next week and apparently, TV scheduling websites have scheduled next Saturday as a repeat (ah Nick,

I know I'm late in commenting this and will probably not get an answer to this but…

One thing that hasn't been mentioned yet: It's snowing in Republic City! This is the first (correct me if I'm wrong) time we see a non-Water Tribe experience the winter season (which made sense in AtLA since Aang would have frozen to death). Which makes me wonder, how DOES weather or climate work in the Avatar world?
