I absolutely agree. We gave this show a try over the weekend—my husband was more forgiving, but I was bothered by it right away. When I saw it was still heavy on the voiceover exposition in the second episode I balked. The show (the little I've seen anyway) doesn't do a bad job of showing what's going on—so why not

This episode was so good. Everything came together seamlessly and nothing felt forced to me. I like how the show throws in dashes of humor, even in the midst of serious plotlines (ruining the car as a diversion, Will awkwardly greeting Lito, Lito flirting with that employee). They get the humor right and it doesn't

I love Riki Lindhome, but I don't think Natasha Leggero is as funny as she is (or as funny as Kate Micucci). But I watched the show last night, and I thought her delivery was pretty good—and she does great work with her voice. I thought Christina Hendricks was awesome, it's great to see her do something comedic. It

They could have had my mom's old SE, it's sitting in a box in the garage.

Over Krugman? And Arundhati Roy? That's unexpected…

This is bugging me—that dream sequence (well, up until the diarrhea) was referencing something—what the heck is it??

There is no way Brody is the father. Either it's cancer or it's one of her one night stands (the timing just doesn't work out to favor Brody). I really like this season—I like that it's Carrie-focused with Brody being on the periphery, and I like that Saul has developed even more (as has Quinn).

One of the great things about "It's a Wonderful Life" is that it is
such a dark, ironic film. Please don't let the Hollywood moguls get
their hands on this plot and turn it into another "Jingle All The Way"

I'm probably in the tiny minorty here, but I really dig Yoko. I saw her at Pitchfork years ago, and she was an amazingly energetic and stylish stage performer. Her music is weird, but it is interesting. She's one of the hippest 80 year olds I can think of.

My thought was that maybe they wouldn't trust True Blood anymore given the fact that it spread the disease, but after 6 months you'd think they would have manufactured a replacement! I agree with your "bleh" on the "monogamy" part—since Hep V is clearly meant to be HIV, and vampires have long served as an allegory for

I figured those were the vampires that the healthy humans need "protection" from based on Mayor Sam's speech in the Church. They're not zombies, just hungry, angry vampires looking for a midnight picnic.

Knowing how nuts this show gets, I'm thinking that since the actor is leaving the show, they might find a way to revive his vampire soul and stick it in someone else's body (like all those painful Lafayette medium scenes we know and love). That way the actor's gone but the character sticks around. Either

That was ridiculous. What's with Jason getting these rapey storylines? What's with Sookie suddenly hooking up with Alcide (or was that just a way to keep his character while dumping the terrible, boring wolf plot lines)? Did we always know that Warlow's blood would wear off after he died? Is Tara's mom giving her Hep

Anyone else think it's weird that Dean Norris from Breaking Bad is playing a guy who is stockpiling propane in a small town?

This reminds me of the Boston Legal episode in which an African American mother and daughter sued because the daughter wasn't allowed to play Annie.

It seems like it would be very hard to a middle-aged person on Project Runway, and especially hard to be a middle-aged woman. The way the show edits it, the young women designers basically ignore/patronize the older women designers.

Man, I remember Cave of Time. I think that was the one in which one of the choices led you way back in time to when Earth didn't have enough Oxygen for you to breathe, so you asphyxiated horribly. I read that when I was 7, and it stuck with me.

As much as I love Rob Zombie's work, that trailer for his new film looks like it was lifted straight out of Dario Argento except with darker lighting. I truly hope it brings something original to the table.

I want to like Charlie because too few shows have strong women lead characters, but damn she is whiny and has a bizarre morality that betrays serious naivete. I really dislike her character and find her boring. Grace needs more screen time.
