I saw that tour! When he started soloing during "Accelerator," the rest of the band got this terrified look in their eyes. It was amazing.

What I love the most about this album is that since it's not digitally compressed within an inch of it's life, if you crank it up on a pair of speakers that aren't attached to a computer the sound actually gets richer and fuller and warmer and LOUDER instead of sounding like garbage.

You get it if you buy from Amazon MP3, too. Totally worth it; it's a great track.

No, they paid a billion dollars for YOU, you lovable, searchable, exportable treasure trove of rich, rich data. Now hold still while I apply the "1977" filter to this spreadsheet that shows me everywhere you've been in the last 16 months.

"I tend to work really quickly…"

So am I allowed to finally start watching this show or not?

I'm holding a grudge against Itunes from the DRM days. For me, "Not being able to put a song on a mix more than 6 times" < "The Battle of Anger-Sanguinis."

My favorite shirt used to be my Ride shirt from 1991 until it caught on fire when I was wearing it. That was ugly. I was more upset about losing that shirt then the burns, etc.

THANK YOU for the whole album stream. It's not on Spotify or Amazon MP3 or Insound for some reason, I avoid Itunes when I can, and the CD is backordered in most places. Funny how quickly we've gotten spoiled with being able to listen and/or download anything we want as soon as it comes out, then when we can't it feels

He produces all his own records, actually. He's not the kind of guy to let someone else touch the mixing board.

Everything they've released so far from the Killer Mike and the El-P albums sounds so, so good. I have a feeling those 2 albums and the new Japandroids are going to be my windows rolled down jams all summer long.

Now that I've fallen down the Mount Eerie rabbit hole, I'm pretty excited for all the new music he's releasing this year. 2 albums, a bunch of singles, god only knows what else. The advance track from "Clear Moon" sounds fantastic, and like yet another fascinating new direction.

From what I've heard so far, it sounds like Post-Nothing only tighter, louder, and with even better lyrics. I actually think it's going to be even better.

They keep saying on Facebook that it's "Almost done." Not that that means anything, but I remain cautiously optimistic.

Yeah, I'm kind of shocked they dissed the single. Deflated and uninspired? Really? Are you sure you're not actually playing the new Dandy Warhols album? Because although I'll grant you it's not the most exciting title, I thought "Hey Jane" was pretty fantastic, all ten minutes of it.

I'm pretty sure that any band that calls itself Brooklyn Rider is also secretly Pieces of Shit.

I love how he keeps messing up in 9-24-11 but he doesn't stop the track, and then he comes back after the shout-out section fiercer than ever.

I'm guessing because they're a bit too weird and a bit too Welsh to qualify as Britpop, and they didn't really hit the scene until the late 90's.

"Going Blank Again" is still pretty shoegazey. I remember when it came out I didn't think it sounded THAT much different from "Nowhere," just a little cleaner and crisper. Whereas when I first heard "Carnival of Light," I screamed at my car stereo for ten minutes because there weren't enough guitars. Took me a couple

If the line about Ride putting out a britpop album "with dire results" is a knock on "Carnival of Light," then we have a problem.
