. . .and it's worth it.
. . .and it's worth it.
I hadn't noticed that, but it's interesting how some of the same images are used on back to back tracks. "Harvest Time" and "Never Anyone But You" both make references to ghostly voices in the fields and otherworldy choirs. They seem to signify different things on each track though; for "Harvest Time" it seems to be…
Best moment of the episode for me was right before Leslie rips up the check and she turns back to look at Ron, who nods. I really like the relationship that's developing between those two.
I always thought it was about how, despite those oozing sores, Ronnie James Dio does NOT have VD, ladies. Really.
Oh god yes; I was scrolling through all the comments to see if someone had put that in.
You're on your own, kids
Daddy got to get paid.
Their last season was awful and I watched every goddamned minute of it. It went downhill the second Amy Sherman-Palladino but I was way too emotionally invested in the characters to stop watching. So I was actually glad it went off the air.
Yeah, I had to do the same thing with the new Anti-Pop Consortium lp. It blew my mind so much I needed to let things settle before I turned to this.
I'll admit it
I saw this in the theaters for $2. I was reading "A Hero With A Thousand Faces", and feeling all myth-a-riffic.
Keep listening . . the horns are there to distract you from the fact that it's actually their darkest, most disturbing record yet.
You're going to love it. Did you hear the EP that came before this, "That Night A forest Grew"? It's very similar, they started playing around with some horns on there, and they carry on using the horns all throughout this one. They even re-worked one of the songs from it, and it shows up here as well in different…
Just figured out you can do this to ANY of the reviews, no matter how old.
Oh wow
This "Grade the albums yourself" thing even works on older albums.
Feasting on asphalt
is the best thing Food Network has ever done. I think Alton is great on Iron chef America, Next Food Network Star, and I still DVR Good Eats to see if there are any I missed.
I love that quote.
@mbs:
I know, that's what I was referencing.
I'm waiting for the "Patton Oswalt killed by Dane Cook ; Pavement reunion called off so that Malkamus can join Weezer" double buzzkill to end all buzzkills.
I was going to make a joke . . .
. . . about the black guy being photoshopped in, but it's way more obvious that the entire backdrop is photoshopped in.
He could get fucked by the panda three times. That would make it five.
I can see why you dropped the "cautiously optimistic" tagline
Between this and Adrian Brody starring in Predator, the shit is getting downright unconscionable around here.
