I was a boy back then (and arguably still am now) and, like every kid I knew in the '80s, loved the Fudge books, so I tried reading some of her other stuff. I think I tried Are You There, God? It's Me, Margaret and Blubber, and from what I remember, in both cases, I was just confused and bored.

I'm kind of embarrassed that I got the repackaged version of the first two Tiffany Aching books. On one hand, hurray, two books in one! On the other hand, the cover is just witch's-hat-and-frog on a pitch-black background, very obviously designed to go Hey ladies you like the Twilights right?
