Maniac Cop has always been a gap in my horror movie experience. I should finally watch them once I've finished my journey through the Children of the Corn franchise. (which, by the way, has already been a hoot and a half. )

I am so happy that Dan Ryckert's "Waluigi #1" sign is visible in that picture.

And yet, hot properties like Step By Step and Camp Wilder still wait for their return to the limelight.

How did what appears to be a mass-forwarded email from that one coworker with the Cathy desk calendar (An "Ack!" A Day!) end up on AVC?

Given how often that song uninvitedly pops into my head, I don't doubt that there's something sinister about it.

Horrorland wins it for me. I was so, so into the idea of a horror-centric theme park as a kid. That book was pure wish fulfillment.

In A Dark, Dark Room deserves more love. Not exactly as terrifying or surreal as the Scary Stories illustrations, but The Teeth definitely lead to a couple of sleepless nights.

Now it's Huell's time to shine!

Failed Dursties? New Community episodes? Man, it really is an AV Club kinda day, isn't it?

Right? And c'mon, hovering cats? Really? Even the faceless old woman that secretly lives in my home scoffed at that one.

I got a Community notification for THI-… oh, right. Carry on.

Yeah, the main thing for me is Cecil's change in demeanor. Mooning over Carlos and getting scared/angry was fine every once in a while, but all the time? It's like poorly written fanfic of itself. (and fuck knows there's PLENTY of poorly written Night Vale fanfic already)

I loved Night Vale for the longest time, but I've fallen off as of late. It panders too much to the Tumblr fans anymore, and overfamiliarity with both the way the town works and the cast of characters' eccentricities completely destroys the initial appeal for me. Also, it seems like the "community update radio show"

At least the captions are customizable!

Yeah, I ended up watching the majority of the second episode with the "buffering" circle spinning in the middle of the screen.

I'm really liking season 6 so far. It's different (and the conspicuous gaps in the opening credits are really weird… they couldn't have put Paget and Keith in there?), and the first episode was a bit meta-heavy, but the laughs are there just the same.

Whoa whoa whoa. Hooooold up.

Hey! Throw some pizzas on the safehouse roof, wouldja? Stuffed crust, if you'd be so kind.

And I'll listen to theirs for the same price!

A typo? Unheard of!
