Yepyep. Her whole hip-pop phase was insufferable to me. I didn't even mind it being a veiled ad for clothes, it was just that she mastered the terrible mix of earworms and obnoxious vocals. I like Gwen's voice a lot, but like Billy Corgan's voice, it only works in specific genres.

Pawn Stars may have its issues, but I love it just because of moments like that. The bitter post-shoot-down interviews never fail to crack me up.

The singles from this album are basically the extent of my No Doubt experience, but goddamn, "Spiderwebs" and "Don't Speak" are fantastic songs. Almost good enough to make me forgive "Hollaback Girl".

I wasn't sure if they'd ever be able to top Asylum, especially after the little I was able to watch of Coven, but I've got huge hopes for this.

I have no siblings, but if I did, they would have introduced me to Wang Chung. They're always hypothetically yammering on about Wang fucking Chung. I'd probably have had it up to here with Wang Chung by now. Deep down I'd have grown fond of it all, but I'd not have realized it until it was too late, I imagine.

I've always wanted to go back and reread these, especially since I never finished the series as a kid, or read any of the side stuff other than "Andalite".

True, those eps aren't without merit. I've only run through the series once, so I'd need to go through it again to really judge each episode. I don't recall Beer Bad being all that terrible, just kind of hokey in that Season 1 way.

I love Billion Dollar Movie, but if the penis scene was your tipping point, you cut out at the right time. It gets much, much more vile. (Shrim is much more than just a word that sounds like "shrimp")

This just makes me sad that The Drew Carey Show is still largely unavailable. I know it's a licensing nightmare thanks to all the music and such, but I'd give a random passerby's left nut for the remaining seven seasons on DVD or Netflix.
