YES! I posted about this above, zipperblog, but this is the one, HUGE flaw in the premise that is bugging the shit out of me. If robot tech has advanced to this incredible level, then surely robots are everywhere in the real world, right?! So while this park is a cool idea, presumably I can buy a robot hooker or

Great insight. Along these same lines, here's another thing that's been bugging me all weekend: SURELY if robot technology has advanced to this level, then in the near-future setting of this show robots would be EVERYWHERE in the real world. There's just simply no way that this advanced tech would be exclusive to an

    This is still a thing?

    Terrible editing. Jesus

So right. And the problem was she had written the book from Megan's perspective early on, so when we get the reveal, it simply doesn't jive with anything we learned while in Megan's head in those early chapters. Specifically, Megan relates at length her weird experience as Anna's nanny, but never once even mentions

Counterpoint: I did not think the killer was obvious while reading the book, if only because the reveal played to me like a total cheat. I don't think the author decided who the killer was until she got to the point in the book where she had to finally reveal it.

The original movie was released 43 years ago.

Brilliant remake. Pacing is magnificent. Loved it. Another horror movie to consider: Dawn of the Dead (2004). Maybe not better than the original, but IMO just as good.

Other than The Thomas Crown Affair I walked out of:

Brer Rarebit - me too. I said this in another thread here … this list is good but including this bore of a movie is a head-scratcher. I could count on one hand the amount of movies I've walked out of, and The Thomas Crown Affair is one of them.

This is an enjoyable list. I thank you for it. One disagreement (a vehement one): The Thomas Crown Affair is a piece of shit. SO tedious. Breezes by? Were we watching the same movie?

Haha I had the same reaction. Never in a million years would I have guessed he's my age. He's way, WAY cooler than me

I see a lot of snark here but I'm stopping by to say these guys are a blast live. Saw them at The Earl in Atlanta with about 75 other people and it was a riot. Highly recommend

Ted Danson is a true gift. Loving his character already.

Correction: "Stick Your Head in a Jet Engine (If You Want to Rock & Roll)"

I had the same reaction. Interesting indeed. I thought she was awful in this, and she was unbelievably, atrociously awful on Dexter.

OH MAN I said the SAME thing! Reminds me so much of Hospice, even though the sounds are so different.

I believe Judy Moncada is entirely fictional.

I'd venture to say at least 75% of Narcos is subtitled.

I similarly reject the notion that the show is somehow trying (and failing at times?) to present Escobar as an "antihero" of the likes of Walter White. The first paragraph of the review suggests the showrunners are somehow off their game when they return to "supervillain Pablo," presumably as opposed to something
