I'm partial to George in Blackadder or Bertie Wooster through the ages.

The show has always been inconsistent. From the beginning there were some really awful stories. The first part of the season would have an absolutely horrible villain like Chi McBride (can't remember the character's name offhand) the evil administrator or Tritter stomping on everyone's constitutional rights. You…

"… the show's very first account of very bad medicine and absurd human behavior that nearly overshadowed the drama"

This show is moving on, as in moving forward in time quickly to a very different culture than when the show started.

I was looking for her onstage but I didn't notice anyone who looked like her. We haven't actually seen her acting yet. Is she waiting for her big break or a is she just a dilettante?

I don't think Paul left advertising to pursue his dream so much as he wasn't very good at it, ended up at the A&P and grabbed onto religion to give meaning to his life. It was established in earlier seasons that he wasn't as talented as the others. They didn't keep him on when the set up SCDP and Peggy didn't even…

The play was not well staged. The glacial pace of the MM doesn't really work for a lean, mean off-Broadway show. I did like the line about having a can of beer while watching beer commercials. Don seemed to take it very personally.

Not proto-hippie, by 1966 I'm pretty sure there were actual hippies, they just didn't magically appear when popular culture decided they were interesting and they could sell stuff with them in 1967. This show it moving on.

When she was demanding that he never talk to Paul again I actually said "or… what?" out loud. I don't think Jennifer would take the word of the crazy cult woman over her husband. All I could think of is that she did it to destroy his credibility so that Paul wouldn't believe that Harry had his best interests at heart…

I just think it's more interesting dramatically to imagine he's got some mysterious motivation and is not just a fanatic. Also he's wearing a mask and we don't know why.

I'm just assuming that Amon has an ulterior motive, I may be mistaken.
