Oz, of course. Another "must watch every time" opening. The ever-changing nudity and violence may have caught my attention too.

Paranoia Agent, that was the one where the people were grinning at the destruction of humanity, right? I was trying to remember that earlier but the only image I got was the kid with the hockey stick. (It's that one, right?) The song is pure sensory overload. I thought it was the best part of the show. Ghost in the…
Angry Beavers, it's so perky, with horns. Someone else remembers Angry Beavers.
I guess everyone has forgotten about Invader Zim, the perfect marriage of music and visuals.
I like that one too. When I got the DVD box set I actually got to hear the end music and I liked it even better.
It really is a great song, and it goes with great visuals. It's one of the openings I always watch along with Adventure Time, Futurama and Carnivale.
The Lost sound with the swirly logo is the perfect episode opener for a DVD box set and it's very mysterious the first dozen times you see and hear it.
I forgot about Ghost in the Shell, that was amazing.
Adventure Time, that's the one I never fast-forward through. Even when I watch several episodes on DVR I watch the opening credits every time, there's something about that kid's voice. Agree on Venture Bros. and Aqua Teen. They changed it?
Carnivale had the greatest opening credits in the history of television and that includes the haunting music that went so perfectly with the amazing visuals. The other greatest opening credits are for Futurama. Tubular Bells! The music is just odd and catchy and just right for a show set in the future. I also like the…
This is what I meant, I love every episode and think each one has something great in it, it's just that sometimes you have to get people past their prejudices, for their own good.
I always liked Deep Space Nine because it wasn't only about the elite but there were a lot of normal people (or aliens) who lived in a city and weren't all so superior.
I read 2012. There's already lots of info on the internet, maybe too much. I'm hoping it's all misinformation because I must read about it but it would be nice to discover it as it's released. People are already bitching about it.
I agree with you, I stuck with Lost till the bitter end because I was emotionally invested in some of the characters and wanted to see how things worked out for them.
They undercut the sentimentality by preceding it with the exchange between Toph and Sokka "Nah, I'm good" I love when writers do that.
Like I said above, it was The Tales of Ba Sing Se. I was amazed at how beautiful it was and how well-written. Loved Sokka's haiku slam, and that's not something I would normally be interested in and of course, Iroh's story just destroyed me. I just knew what was going on with these characters. I wasn't sure what Momo…
Overall, this episode may be second-tier but the fight between Azula and Aang has always been one of my favorites in the show. The contrast in their styles and in scale, then there's exploding wall juice and everyone goes flying.
I read a book about Oxford and all of the arguments were compelling until there you read some of writing he did under his own name. That guy did not write Othello.
