I logged in just to like this, and I am deeply lazy. I was thinking these exact first two paragraphs during the episode, especially after Ken Tremendous said on Twitter this was his favorite Aziz Ansari episode. He didn't do anything! He still hasn't done anything!

Karen is the Broadway equivalent of Tim Tebow.

I like everything you're saying here.

@avclub-c5fe25896e49ddfe996db7508cf00534:disqus , I do think Misfits makes up the rules as they go, but that doesn't make it a dumb show.

Right? Especially when Simon was carefully explaining the laws of zombies based on all those zombie movies he's seen, I kept waiting for him to mention, "Oh, and zombies usually aren't mentally with it enough to have a conversation, let alone hide their true nature for days while they live with you." But that's

In the Christmas episode, a freak lightning storm hits Downton, and everybody gets superpowers.

I think part of why Rudy doesn't fully click with me is because I don't really get how his power works. It seems like Rudy-1 is just as much of an asshole whether Rudy-2 is joined with him or not. Rudy-2 only really seems to have any effect when he's split off, chastising Rudy-1 to his face instead as a voice inside

To me, that's all part of the apathy that makes the show so endearing to me. Like how a bunch of teens in community service jumpsuits can start stalking a woman in a hospital, and the nurse at the desk doesn't have a fuck to give. Like how dozens, or maybe even hundreds, of people in a small vicinity have developed

This episode got me all confused about the rules of making/killing/saving hybrids. So Tyler bites Caroline, which should be fatal, except she…drinks Klaus' blood? I thought it was Elena's blood? Unless that's only for making hybrids? If the blood of a hybrid can save a vampire from the bite of a hybrid, did Tyler know

Or, give Nathan the power of regeneration, and keep recasting him. I hear that works out okay.

It never seemed to me that they hated Braff. More like, he was capable of pulling off the goofier comedy, and that is just so much easier to write than nuanced character-based comedy that the whole show ended up getting pulled in that direction. Which happens to almost all sitcoms: they broaden over time.

come on you son of a bitch BOOOOOOOOM

The songs in Magoo's Carol are flat-out wonderful. "Winter Was Warm"? Come on, that is a song for the ages.

According to my dad's annotated edition, which I've read a couple of times, the name Scrooge was chosen/coined for maximum effect. It is supposed to sound like the name of a highly unpleasant person.

Erik, I don't know if this will help you deal with your trauma at all, but at the very end of "You Do Something To Me," when the pink Muppet gets Svengali'd, she says, "Oh, finally, I never thought you'd get me back to myself." So my read is that he's not tormenting her, but that he's trying to help. Or at the least,

Wait, does that for real exist? It should.

Let's attach @mgilmer:disqus's butt to his chest!

So, the megachurch next door folded and became a mosque?

If he had dementia, though, that can cause some serious personality changes. People with Alzheimer's do all kinds of things they would never do without that illness eating their brains.

The Christmas Toy stuck with me because of how
