You don't have to buy the special deluxe blu-ray box set. You can buy the bare-bones blu-ray. It's been on sale for $7 many times in the past and will likely get even cheaper in the future. It's currently $8.50 on Amazon (just search gone with the wind blu-ray), which is not bad if you don't want to wait for a sale.

I have to say, I actually liked Fisk killing Ben, simply because it was such a jaw-dropping moment.

I'm pretty much a Daredevil newbie too, and I just read Marvel's two volumes collecting Miller's first run on Daredevil. I think it's a pretty good place to start.

Wonder Pets features several episodes written by modern musical theater luminaries like Michael John LaChiusa and Jason Robert Brown.

Yeah, as this guy notes, there are literally dozens of bars showing Game of Thrones on Sunday nights. Most people in Manhattan don't go to Videology to watch it.

And that little boy grew up…to become franklinshepard.

I think Ginger Snaps II is pretty great, but Ginger Snaps Back was disappointing. It was basically the first movie transposed to the 19th century, with nothing new or interesting to say. That said, it's been many years since I've seen it, so maybe I should give it another chance.

Interesting. I only had the low-quality version on youtube to watch, I'll have to check out an HD version for comparison. Regardless, I hardly think you could call her dance moves in that number a breakout moment, since it's so hard to spot her.

idiotking, all I can say is don't come Friday or Saturday, and come earlier. Before 9PM, you will rarely if ever hear "All That Jazz," "Suddenly Seymour," or "Maybe This Time."

Yes. You'd hear it frequently in the 60s, when Daredevil first came out (and my dad was a little kid.)

You're completely right, of course, but I do love the braid. So many great jokes have been made (and will continue to be made) about that braid.

I'm straight, but yeah, ballads are very fun to sing. I'm guilty of that.

Zorba is a great show, and really should be less obscure than it is. And yes, 100% chance they use the original lyric of "Life Is." They might use the new song for Nikos and probably a slightly different version of "Why Can't I Speak," but Kander and Ebb have made it very clear the original lyric is best.

The avowed purpose of Encores Off-Center was really only in place for the first year of its existence. (And I don't think casting a star goes against its purpose - Encores has done this frequently.) I'm not thrilled they're doing Little Shop either, and if it weren't for Jake Gyllenhaal, I would probably skip it. But

I immediately called and got a $25 ticket in row C of the orchestra. Thank God for twitter!

I wrote on Twitter that if you drink every time someone says "Hell's Kitchen," you'll be wasted before the halfway mark of every episode. Most people just don't call it that in conversation - you'll hear "Midtown" about 20 times for every one "Hell's Kitchen."

Also, Heather Lind is still smoking.

Turn is probably my favorite not-great show. I find it compelling and watchable at all times, and occasionally it's even good. I'm definitely excited to see where this season takes us.

Actually, my co-worker just said it.
