?? Sorry for any confusion - let me clarify. My friend Billy is in the sketch comedy group Serious Lunch! Why isn't he going to be on SNL?

I thought that this episode was worth it solely for the amazing work Sarah Rafferty did in it. It was a great episode for Donna, and all those painful Mike scenes were worth it just for her.

If you had asked me before this episode, I would've said yes, but I think the writers (and of course Sarah Rafferty and Gabriel Macht) made me believe it. And it worked for me.

I actually rewound it, and it still sounded like the real deal to me. And really, if you can't hear the difference, why not just say the real word?

It's definitely a flawed work in any capacity. But I do think there is a better show in all that material than the one that opened on Broadway, for sure.

Hard to judge the score based on that CD, IMO - the performances are pretty terrible. If you can find Judy Kaye's recording of "Duet for One", you can understand why it stopped the show every single night.

I'd like a white quilt.

I was kind of hoping this would be more like the musical 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

"Our Love's in Jeopardy"? @Dikachu:disqus is quoting the Weird Al parody of that song.

Especially because Daniel Day Lewis hasn't been on stage since he had a breakdown doing Hamlet in the late 80s. I would think a return to the stage for him would be an incredibly hot ticket.

Risible means ridiculous or ludicrous. I don't think District 9's allegory played as silly at all, although it could've. Part of what was good about that movie was how thoroughly it made you sympathize with something completely non-human.

Seriously. I'm getting to the point where if he doesn't like something, that means I probably will.

Oof, two hours? I thought it would be one hour of casting and one hour of Tyra-brand nuttiness on the cheap.

I saw it at the Angelika two weeks ago, and I didn't care for it at all. It was gorgeous, but completely empty. Kristin Scott Thomas gave that movie the only life it had, and she was only on screen for maybe 25 minutes total.

Oh, come on. No one is covering the premiere of Top Model? I'm sure there will be one or two interesting things to say about it. Were there not enough pageviews even for the premiere episodes?

I love After the Fall, but I stopped reading right after that. (It seemed kind of like the perfect place to let Angel end, as someone who doesn't love S5.) Where should I start again?

Crap, I made this joke upthread without seeing this.
