I really think this could be one of the times a reboot might work. The idea is still interesting and technology has advanced so much since 1973 there is enough room to add different plots and characters. Plus psychotic killer robots that look like people!

When will movie studios realize that most people are over monster movies? Especially monster movies w/origin stories. Origin stories usually double as stealth attempts at creating a franchise and I doubt this film will leave audience members asking for a sequel.
