I couldn't agree more. Food shows are one of the biggest "Fuck You"s to poor people everywhere.

The biggest surprise for me was that T.(Not so) Swift not only watches "Girls" but has seen the episodes enough times to actually quote the show.
Hollywood: We've been out of original ideas FOR YEARS!
Remember when Disney wasn't remaking the same 5 stories and we got a talking toaster? Good times.
Okay. I read all of the posted comments before posting this, so if someone else brought it up, I apologize. In the first episode of his show, Jeselnik had Aziz Ansari as a guest and he read a quote from him about how Ansari "…could give a TED talk about dick pics." which I am positive was from the interview that was…
G-G-G-G-G-GHOSTS?
Or watch a show about the Korean war?
I've noticed that over the past several years, two (or more) developers/studios/etc. having a similar (or identical) idea has just slowly become the new normal. The farthest back example that I can think of is when "Volcano" and "Dante's Peak" were released around the same time back in '97. I don't understand how this…
Nope. Good guess but you have a point deducted from your score because the comment says "…happy for him…"
It is curious how so many film stars are agreeing to do television today when it seemed like they held the medium in contempt for nearly its entire existence. I'd like to believe that it is because we are in the golden era of TV but I imagine the actual answer is that doing TV pays the bills, mostly.
Cool Story, Bro Time:
That's why I brought it up. Maron agreeing to be on "Louie" was indeed very cool and I was just curious if C.K. would agree to appear on Maron's show and return the favor.
I wonder if Louis C.K. will stop by for an appearance. Comedians tend to appear in other comedians' projects as a favor/etc. and doing so would certainly be a sign that they have patched things up and no longer actively dislike each other.
Maybe she bought him a drink and laughed at his jokes first?
…because of course he does.
This episode of "Girls" is the darkest thing I have seen on TV in a long time, if ever. I do not know how Dunham writes this show, but I imagine that this episode and the next serve as the end of "Act 2" where in the 3 act structure is designed to be where things tend to end darkly. S1E9 ended with Marnie and Hannah…
Have a great weekend everyone!
It's still difficult to realize that Coppola has gone from "The Virgin Suicides" to "The Bling Ring" in about 13 years. I honestly can't remember the last film I saw of hers.
I remember when pop stars had to have their hair catch on fire to stop a show.
Since I agree strongly with the rest of the commentariat below about this possibly being the best Newswire of 2013, I'll take a different angle. What are CBS gynecological jokes going to sound like? They are the least-edgy network on television and I really wonder how they are going to make examining women's…
