This piqued my interest… a lot. After a quick GIS, turns out he's not so much silver foxy as salt-and-pepper foxy. Can't complain, though… I'll be in my bunk.

You, sir, are no Francophone.
Excellent article. I'm really lookuing forward to this book. Which makes me wonder : why so few book reviews?! This should be in the book section. Let's have a little love for literature!
One of the runner-ups was a Vogue cover model. That's pretty big shit in the model world.
Of course, it was Vogue Knitting, not actual Vogue, but I'm sure she still puts it on her résumé.
And those ten people each went on to become an indie film director.
Trufax.
Archmage, I think I love you like I never before-a.
"Teenage suicide : Don't do it" - Big Fun
My artist husband and I have two terms for this. The actual bullshit is referred to as "art-wank" and when we want to mock it, all we have to do is turn to the other and say "Blah blah blah human condition."
My husband is very bad at doing it and therefore has had little success in the art world.
Blue Man Group Part Deux : 2 Blue 2 Boogie?
+1 For throwing shade at that less-talented group of drag queens (and by that I mean the Housewives).
That pretty much distilled my childhood and adolescence into 2 minutes of woo woo la la.
I'm going to go cry now.

Sorry, we only talk about abstracts… that Munch is a bit too figurative for our munch.
Her name *is* delightful! I'm so glad to see Courtney on Drag Race. I was living in Australia when her profile started to rise. She started out in the clubs but at a certain point she appeared on Australian Idol (and gave a very good showing as a straight-up singer) and released a few singles. She's a great performer…
Atlas? Is that you?
It's not about descriptivist vs. proscriptivist. It's about knowing what the words mean. Both forms of the sentence are correct, but your critique of the headline applied the word transitive incorrectly. -1 for vocab.
Uh, you mean indirect transitive as opposed to direct transitive, right? Because "graduated high school" is a direct transitive verb form (no preposition) while "graduated from high school" is an indirect transitive form (with preposition attaching object to verb).
I'll bet Marky Mark can suggest some fine remedial…
