Talk Shows
Maybe the Leno/O'Brien axis were left out because they are unfunny/uninteresting dinosaurs?

We're here! We're queer! We're watching Arrested Development on DVD!

Oh, it's just me who's queer? All righty then.

I bawled like a baby during the whole thing, having watched the final three episodes in one orgy of miserableness. I did, however, think that it was strange how they

The aftermath is very bleak. But I think David's reaction to the carjacking sets things up for events in Season 5, especially the finale.

Everyone…. is so young
Especially Claire, Rico and Nate. They look so young in this pilot, especially when you compare them with later seasons. Like children playing grown-up roles.

Do you know how far in advance the Nate arc was planned? I can't recall in what season we find out about his brain thingy. I was just wondering if it was "general aura of death" or "specific foreshadowing for this character".

Random observations
So glad this is only one episode a week. I agree that two hours (full hours, not 44 min) would be too much to cover in enough depth.

Watch it. WAtch it all. It does not suck. It waxes and wanes. But I'd say that, season by season, Season 1 would be the weakest. And even the weakest season is great TV.

Holy shit that's sweet. The only two TV shows I care about enough to own in their entirety: Six Feet Under and Arrested Development.

Ignorance is hilarious
The Jesus-freaks who all chime in on the Abortionplex story are pretty funny, but the LULZ really kick into high gear when the racists show up. "Women of color, this is the ultimate pick up and drop off."

But high school was the best time of my life! Go Bears! Class of '95! Woo!

Sorry Barry, the correct answer is "Izee 'avin' a larf?"

No no no this graph doesn't show *your* personal consumption, but rather the aggregated consumption of all net users. Your prodigious downloading of ass ass flicks gets drowned out.

I'm beginning to doubt your commitment to Sparkle Motion!

Balls 3D?
I'll buy THAT for $20!

Can we have more blatant promotion of homosexuality and deviant lifestyles going on at the top of the screen there? It's enhancing the pleasure I receive from my fleshlight; I might need to close my office door.

Hay-umm sandwich?
How does Paula Deen factor into all of this?

More like a hummer job, amirite?

Math
100 hugs per firefly from 10 000 fireflies is 1 million hugs.

Six Feet Under: As good as WUiB?
While I would prefer WUiB to come back for summer reading (I can carry a book to the park, not so my TV and DVD player), Six Feet Under weekly will have to suffice. It'll be a great prompt to go through the box set again from the very beginning.
