I sincerely hope that the new writers learn their lesson. T-Dog was honestly the last of the story-less background characters (most were killed off on the farm); everyone left now has at least SOME back-story and motivation that makes sense. Hopefully Oscar (?) will be a better developed character than T-Dog.

Yeah, I like Frank Darabont's work in general, but if this is what he was suppressing for the last two seasons, the show is clearly better off without him. I do agree with Zach's concern about maintaining pace, though — we have to come off this rush soon.

Because Rick doesn't fully believe his own pep talk that he gave Carl about soldiering on and dealing with loss. Rick clearly believed that he could keep everyone safe…turns out, not so much.
