That scene with Jon and Sansa saying something along the lines of 'we mustn't be enemies' was bizarre. At what point was the notion raised that they could possibly be enemies? They're brother and sister reunited after a whole lot of unpleasantness. Jon wasn't 100% keen on retaking Winterfell, but she persuaded him

I think people are saying this because it makes feck all sense for her not to tell Jon about the potential reinforcements.

Hell yes, that shot was gorgeous. A lot of the battle shots were too (Jon standing alone in front of a gang of charging horses), even if it didn't make a whole lot of sense.

I'm pretty sure that, while the art direction and (usually more importantly), the money come from Hollywood, the actual CGI firepower more commonly comes from Asia.

Ah, fantastic, thanks. I had a suspicion I'd completely forgotten something that would make sense of things.

Having said that, when I say 'headphone' I really mean 'earphone'- which may have something to do with it.

Huh, I've seen people calling this a headphone album, but I just discovered it might be more of a speaker album for me. After a few headphone listens, and feeling indecisive about it, I put it on speakers and it filled up the room beautifully.

Seconded on the Bowie, and glad someone else noticed it. I think it's really just the lines 'You really messed up everything' and 'This is a foul-tasting medicine', but both sound -so- Bowie.

I see this claim a lot on the internet, but the problem is, it's untested because Radiohead haven't done a bad album.

That's the most obvious implication, but it came immediately after they ruled out attacking the cities so it seems a little strange.

I saw that, but not sure why that makes her less scary. Still the king's mother, the head of the guard's sister, not really known for being forgiving. Being publicly humiliated should make her even more unstable and dangerous.

This season officially has me confused- I feel like I've missed or forgotten important things. Why are the small council not even slightly scared of Cersei anymore? It seems like authority has completely broken down at King's Landing, and I'm not sure when/why that happened. Did her uncle come in at some earlier point

Not to crank up your hype even further, but if you're going to spend your money on any film this would be the one. It's not just astonishing, it's four hours of astonishing.

Oodles of Poodles

We do, we do.

Damn, this would explain why the books have been getting longer and taking more time to finish… GRR Martin's players keep rolling ones. Especially the Starks.

I have now… thirty day trial. Will obviously cancel before having to pay as my phone's too old to use it (and also I'm not that into spending money).

Eh? The post specifically said it was the first time he/she'd been unable to separate the artist from the art- there's something unique about Kanye, which surely implies a comparison to all other artists who have said or done bad stuff.

What's your opinion of Roman Polanski? Feels a bit odd that 'typing stupid attention-seeking shit on Twitter' is your bottom line.

Discussing this album is pretty tricky because half the time people talk about how unfocused / chaotic / inconsistent it is, but then mention some of the bonus tracks as their favourites or least favourites.
