(oooops, posted in the wrong place)

Uh… you should probably lose the 'Breaking Bad or Dexter' thing you've got going on here.  The people hating on Dexter are mainly, from what I've seen, people who watched a good show become shitty, like the reviewer did.  They're not Breaking Bad obsessives who are unfairly maligning a still-good show because, dammit,

I think we can all agree that it needed to happen.

Flying out from Miami was extra stupid too.  I mean, could you not… go somewhere else to get your plane?

Gotta say, it's fun to see it get that glorious F, but on its own merits I'd say it's more D+, maybe even C-.  There were two actually legitimately good scenes- Dexter's killing of Sachs, and the subsequent briefing in which it's incredibly obvious that he did it deliberately. For just a moment I think you see Batista

That was farkin' hilarious.  Dude without a tongue somehow cleared every single floor of the hospital.  I guess they all ran to watch.

True that.  And his reaction shots after Dexter killed Sachs.  Boy done good.

Did The Man Who rock?  I remember it being distinctly pleasant and inoffensive.  Felt like they told us that all they wanted to do was rock, and then they… stopped rocking.

Oh God, they could have done so much with her… actually explored the idea that she helped make Dexter a monster, that it was her fault… aaaaargh.

I've seen this mentioned elsewhere, but they're not necessarily Nazis.  Seems like you've got to join a gang in prison, and if you're white the major options seem limited to groups that at least claim to be white supremacist (even if they make their money from drug deals with Mexicans).

Nah, most people talk about it as if it's gone off the rails, I think.  And you're right that the flaws are there all along, and present in a lot of shows, but the difference is older Dexter and other shows brought something else to the table to make you either overlook them or never notice them in the first place.

I liked how they took Wanted Fugitive Hannah McKay to a big, fancy-looking hotel right by the airport and then declared her safe.

Holy crap this 'Team Whoever' stuff is tiresome.  It's a drama show, people, not an election…

Yeah, the only way I can really process it is that there's some code of honour at work here.  On the face of it letting Walt go is a stupid, stupid thing to do.

Walt Jr and Marie weren't listening.  Unless the police make them listen to the recording, they won't hear him saying he killed Hank, they only get Skylar's (IIRC ambiguous) responses.

I can't believe people here think Walt wasn't acting in that final scene.  It actually showed him crying and struggling to sound angry enough, dammit.

The problem, I think, is that they're both heavily mediocre AND have a greater-than-50% chance of being on most rock radio stations at any given time.  They're inescapably mediocre.

I hate the song too, but let's be fair here.  Being able to fly even 100 feet into the air would be sweeeeeeet.

Bonus points for using the word 'fundamental' in response to a comment about a huge arse.

Isn't it sort of the job of a critic to be a snob?  I mean, the whole premise is that their taste is better informed than most people's…
