You can also do that it Britain, and (I assume) New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, Ireland…
Oh, good point about the upcoming royal wedding. The Tyrells do have a vested interest in keeping good relations with the Lannisters.
Not many mentions here of Littlefinger's speech, which I really liked. His weird mannered delivery is often jarring in dialogue- it feels like it's dubbed in from a booth a thousand miles away- but it worked great there as a dramatic conclusion.
I was sure she was going to say 'We're all being shit on', but the 'shipped' line was almost as good.
The character isn't necessarily the most interesting- I think it's mainly that the actress has been selling the shit out of her.
I was with you on that up until the last couple of episodes, but since the expedition fell apart I can see myself getting a little more sympathetic towards him. I think the show went over the top in making him the poor kid who always gets picked last for sports, but now he has an opportunity to be something a little…
I'm inclined to agree with this, but I'm wavering. I think the show hasn't quite shown the relationship–or that moment–well enough to justify it, so it does result in a slight impression that it's all about the magic of cunnilingus.
There have been hundreds of posts about it in the comments since the thing started… and most of the guesses all go the same way. Not sure when/whether I would have spotted it without reading the comments, but it seems right to me.
Joffrey's pretty blue-eyed, and I have a feeling Cersei's are green. Just seems right for her. On the other hand, I think Melisandre's own eyes are green too. And too many people have brown eyes.
I'd kind of like to see him on the throne for a little bit. I think he'd really have fun with it in an evil scheming way.
Agreed x10.
That threat felt weird to me. Loras is the only male descendant, right? In a place which places so much weight on continuing the family line, you'd think arbitrarily shutting down the only heir in a major family would be one of the biggest no-nos. A potentially war-starting kind of no-no.
I think all's fair in wildling wall-climbing. They were looking like dead weight for a while there. Although really Ygritte could have pointed out to him that Jon was successfully swinging for the edge.
It felt not-quite-earned to me… obviously those two crazy kids were going to end up together, but the 'to hell with my people' aspect was just slightly jarring. She (and maybe every other wildling) seems to have a strong independent streak and not much in the way of attachments, which means her leaving wouldn't be so…
They're not really nice. Well, the seats are comfortable enough, but there will always be people talking just behind you. Also, there are no trailers.
When it comes in the form of millions and millions of dollars, I'm not sure it counts as a 'demand'. More like a condition.
I kept expecting some shape-shifting to be going on, and Stannis' real wife to be packed up in a box somewhere.
I've been enjoying this season quite a bit more than the last one so far- I think mainly because more is happening in the north of the wall/across the sea scenes. In fact, more seems to be happening in general. I could be remembering wrong, but I seem to recall quite a bit of wheel-spinning in the first half of…
What's with all these comments about what Bolton's like in this thread? I didn't even recognise him, and I'm sure that if he has appeared in the show he hasn't had many lines. I'm hoping all this stuff about his character isn't some of that there book-learnin' coming into play…
