The idea is that it brings all the countries together to smile and wave, though. That 'brotherhood of man' goes perfectly with the Olympics. 'No religion' is a questionable sentiment for the Olympics though considering most of the world takes its religion much more seriously than the UK.

As a fan of historical ironies, I appreciate that this film will probably have conservative US audiences cheering insurgents armed with makeshift and salvaged weapons fighting an occupying force which invaded using superior technology and overwhelming air power. On Thanksgiving.
