why this season is boring
i think it's a combination of two things

yeah i felt this episode was kind of shallow. maybe the meaning will be revealed with subsequent episodes, but as of the moment i didnt get much meaning. i got basically that people dont like seeing the truth and would rather struggle against change.

it's the metamorphosis with machine guns
it's quite good

that all star challenge was boring. i should have taken a cue from chris march and fallen asleep. it was nice to see chris and sweet pea in the top because they werent assholes.

N64 had 3 of the greatest games of all time
1) Mario 64 redefined platform gaming for 3 dimensions
2) Ocarina of Time considered by some to be greatest game of all time, introduced targeting into console gaming
3) Golden Eye which Halo rips off… badly

i think it was possibly the best episode but it was marred by the star system. such a terrible system. couldnt they have declared a winner without ratcheting up the drama?

can i add miyazaki redoing the last unicorn?

i am happy with the B+, but i agree the ending was too pat. they only have like 6 episodes left so they had to clean shit up. i would have preferred to see some bigger changes yet i really can't complain. the action was great and intense although i wonder where they will go from here.

the man grilled pork on a device of his own making and he gets no mention except for tom saying it was one of his favorites. he's this show's macgyver.

Diane on Kenley
Maybe it was the editing, but did anyone notice how Fern, Michael and Heidi disliked Kenley's dress saying it was too easy, but Diane said positive things about it and everyone else changed their tune? That was the funniest moment of the night for me.

vatican II?
with peggy being a lapsed catholic, this might be the first television show to deal with vatican ii. suffice it to say i enjoyed this episode immensely because betty was not at the forefront with her american beauty esque problems
