Now that was a good episode of Dexter. It had legitimate tension, it had character exploration, the flashbacks and voiceovers were useful and used well and it even had little nuggets like Dexter relieving stress by killing someone at an airport cut to Debra relieving stress by being on a "run way"

I know they have to sortof stick to some of the characters' real lives, and I'm sure there were contractual issues, but the show would have been better if Jimmy killed Nucky instead of the other way around.
