For what it's worth, I'll back you up on this.  I can't remember exactly what it was, but I do remember thinking, "ooh, that's going to come off as cocky, and people aren't going to like him" at some point.

Because of the way her paleness makes her draw the eye, I thought she was actually a PSA against tanning.

Maybe?  But, on the other hand, it's not that hard to make Adam Shankman cry on this show (which, incidentally, I find one of the more charming things about him—more tears for all!).

I think it was—he was in Cyrus' group.  He made it past the group rounds, but I think got cut at ballroom.  I suppose it's not too much of a surprise that he could pick up choreography, given that he apparently taught himself hip hop, but I can see how ballroom could be one new thing too much, maybe?

It's… well, I can't say always, because I only started watching during season 4, but since then at least, it's always been open to the masses from the top 10 on (well, again, I can't remember what they did it the weird fall season with only a top 10).  That is, the judges eliminate one of the bottom three (well, two

I partially agree, but I don't know that it absolutely matters.  My all-time favorite (Mark) barely appeared in Vegas week coverage—a few moments of a dance for your life, I think—but that didn't stop him from going far.  And I hope that some of the great auditioners who we didn't follow through Vegas make it—I'll

I noticed tall martial arts guy, too, and was happy to see him.  And a couple of brunette contemporary dancers I recognize but can't put a name to.  Oh, wait!  I think one of them is farts with her neck girl!

I'll add another:  Amadeus, which seems to be only available as a director's cut.  The original was really close to a perfect movie, and the added scenes really mess with that.  Sometimes they just mess with the flow, but some of the new bits really alter the viewer's perception of some of the major characters, in bad

The Good Wife is much better if I ignore my knowledge of Chicago of geography while watching it.  (I mean, a ravine with a fricking waterfall in the middle of Chicago?  Really?)

Was Chris actually eating waffles?!  Oh, how Pawnee has changed him…

    Mo Rocca?  Heh.

    Yup.
