Also, Henry Rollins
His West Memphis 3 (Rise Above) album is actually pretty good. Proceeds went to the effort.

Did he show her his karate chops?
Limbo is good and gives you a good sense of what his movies are like. But I'd agree; Lonestar is a great start.
No one else is interested in this?
It's strange but yeah, I'm still looking forward to reading this even though the Beijing olympics are over and done. How this country in particular built venues and villages seems fascinating, especially in contrast to how things are done in the West. There is a New Yorker article…
Oh, that's painful.
The fudge part?
If you look carefully you can see the pipeline seeping oil onto all the wolf carcasses behind her.
Of the recent episodes, I loved Sue Costello. She's had a fascinating journey.
I can agree with this statement.
I enjoyed it. The "teeny-bopper level emtions" didn't bother me at all. Not every dance needs to be about child abuse or genocide. I actually get tired of all the heavy themes and like the occasional lighthearted number.
I *like* Metal Machine Music, but i don't own it. It does seem intentionally off putting in a way that other difficult albums like, say Bone Machine or Trout Mask Replica do not.
Ugh. I was actually ok with most of the choreography tonight, but the piano routine made me laugh out loud (in a bad way). And I usually like Dee. NappyTabs is fine but Sonya either hits it or misses badly. Tonight was a miss.
A few years ago my wife found File Under Easy Listening in a used bin and thought the title was funny, so she picked it up. I still spin it every now and then.
That's a great book for cementing your opinion of the personalities of some of these guys. I read that book, the Black Flag section was about what I expected, I admired Ian Mackaye and damn did that book make fall in love with D Boon. But J Mascis seems like a giant dick and I don't listen to Paul Westerberg anymore.…
I hated Melinda & Melinda and loved Match Point. But for years I would see any Allen film until I saw Curse of the Jade Scorpion and something in my mind broke.
Macy Gray looks pretty good.
Needs to reign in that afro though.
Chili and doughnuts do not go together.
Bela Lugosi battered and fried eh?
Ugh. Flailing was the exactly right word for it. I think you need a lower center of gravity than he has for that dance. He looked awkward and ungainly.
For some reason Miranda is really growing on me. I can't say why exactly. Ryan … eh. I started off liking her but I think that was just familiarity. She dances … the … same … every … time … !
