Time for another Top 10 favorite:

One of my favorite Top 10 lists:

Rephrase: How many did I see at the time?

Not awful, but nowhere near Sexy Beast and the music videos. All I remember is a scene with Nicole Kidman crying in a theater and thinking — god, this is the most pretentious thing I've seen in a while. And Anne Heche and Danny Huston ACTING with no subtlety.

I didn't finish the review because I want to go in as "blind" as possible. But dammit if "Rabbit in Your Headlights," "Karma Police," and "Virtual Insanity" aren't some of the best music videos of all time…

Kristen Pfaff played on their mid-'90s peak (i.e. "Live Through This"), even though Auf der Maur toured and played on "Celebrity Skin."

He sounds like a rastified version of the Jamie Kennedy character in "Scream."

Croon As You Are

WHAT ain't no country I ever heard of! They speak English in WHAT? Say WHAT again, I dare you!

Featuring Nirvana's new hit single "Rave Me."

Her?

Digital Love.

Killer Biebs

It's a cromulentary film.

The last gasp of the late '80s/early '90s alt chart roots before grunge took over.

It seemed subversive at the time, especially when you were 13. Explicit sex and drugs references.

They sold 10 million copies of an album, two years apart. Bought by many of the same people (like me). Had many singles hit #1 on the alt charts.

20 years later, still not sure what the title of that song means

Time for a chart! Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks the week of June 11, 1994:
