I thought I hear PJ Harvey's Stories From the City, Stories from the Sea. That was the only thing I noticed. It's the most accessible of her albums, was a very nice touch.
She didn't say it was from scratch did she? I only caught that it was all organic.
See how GOOD we are at not spoiling things for you people? And you do it to us CONSTANTLY.
Rude.
But it didn't do good high-fives! It had the wrong resistance!! And I say this as an English person and we can't even DO high-fives!!!
Yeah. Like if they recorded the Glee mash-ups with no credit whatsoever. I'm sure Fox would be totally cool with that.
I found it especially funny that she nailed a mild northern accent
(was pretty Yorkshire) and then didn't manage any Birmingham, despite
that being the most cartoonish, and probably easiest to do. She didn't
even pronounce Birmingham with a Birmingham accent. Which made me wonder if that was deliberate.
Won't they do some kind of "they seem perfect but really they have this huge issue in their life", like their parents are ill, or dead, or they aren't really brother and sister, but in love, or they ARE brother and sister and ARE in…maybe not. There'll be some kind of fleshing-out moment in one of the next three…
She couldn't look at Ginny for a month when she got boobs. Classic.
LINCOLN WAS SUPER GAY
I came up with this really funny show: To Catch a Lolcat. Like to Catch A Predator, only the paedo turns up and it's a cat at a computer dressed like a teenager, backwards cap, baggy pants, all like "I can haz underage intercourse pls?"
Oh yay. How will they subtly portray his latent mental health issues?
She always sounds like she has catarrh.
Agreed. It was an entirely different show by the end, but its earlier seasons were good tv, and it deserves more credit.
I watched it. I liked it way more than I thought I would. Might be worth following for a few weeks.
@avclub-2e4b0a439bcab28d03befe24a2594b61:disqus I found Luke's unfounded and unfunny Republicanism pushed him into arsehole territory long since.
The host just looking at the camera and openly laughing was a brilliant touch.
The only time I laughed in this ep was when George offered to leave Sheila if it would get Ryan to come home with him. What? It came from nowhere.
