I actually DID do that catch up from season 1 to what was current at the time (the amazing "If-Then-Else") and yes. It was daunting as fuck but amazing at the same time.
The pictures I've seen from the set looked amazing. I was so bummed to miss that show. I recently moved to the west coast so attending was not an option. I used to regularly hang out with those crazy Ketaon kids.

After reading the rave reviews here, I finally sat down and watched the pilot of "Gravity Falls". 24 hours later I finished all 29 episodes and am patiently waiting for Feb 16th. This show is so fraking good!
