SIX MONTHS LATER

"I'm revulsed by the idea of even thinking about Damages in any kind of vicinity to The Wire!"

@ courtlynne: Maybe they'll clarify it at some point, I'd hope they wouldn't actually kill him for drinking. But it is reminiscent of Malina, not to mention the scene where the "goons" grabbed Michael to take him to alternative school.

I'm not sure I follow…how does the kid prove Joe was lying? Don't get me wrong, I can buy it either way, but I need some help getting there.

I assume we'll find out pretty soon what's in the envelope. I'm more interested in that piece of paper Tom shoved in his pocket. So…yeah, still more interested in Tom than the Tobins is the point I'm making for the 40th time.

I understand the mixed feelings. I ultimately thought the Ellen-Patty stuff was enough payoff that I wasn't totally bummed about the lack of Tom info. But I get it. People feel an attachment to Tom, so there's much more interest in that than anything else, and a sense of impatience about it.

I'm with you on MGH last season. I was like "Wow, she cleans up nice…well how about that?"

You raise a good point. I've definitely jumped to a conclusion, something you can almost never do with this show. Your theory is definitely convincing.

I know, right? I imagine Detective Huntley as this guy who is polite to a fault, but somehow ended up a detective in NYC. "So um…I'm gonna ask you some questions about this murder, but like, please don't be offended, kay?"

Yeah, MurphyC23, Anonymous37 is right. The Ellen-with-shotgun scene was Frobisher's dream. One of my nagging complaints about Damages is the overuse of dream sequences, and cutting a shot from a dream sequence in with a montage of things that actually happened wasn't the wisest choice. Pretty confusing, especially if
