Yes, it did. In fact, those scenes (the tomcat dialogue and the one where he was pacing around) were pretty much identical to the ones in the original series.

Some years ago, Tell Me You Love Me, Lucky Louie, Unscripted and K Street were all cancelled after the first season as well.

I wonder why they changed the music for the title sequence, especially after receiving the series' only emmy nomination last year for "Outstanding Main Title Design" (I know that there's another one for the title theme music itself, but still… no need to change that sequence at all.)
