Anna Karina
She might be the hottest woman ever — reason enough to see "Made in USA," even if I didn't love Godard.
When I worked at Old Navy
they would play the same mix over and over. It was on a super-audio CD, so it was a solid 3 hours of music, but to this day if you put a gun to my head I would tell you that Duran Duran's "Rio", Steve Miller's "Abracadabra", and Prince's "When Doves Cry" were the only songs on that disc.
Corey, bubula, there's something I've been curious about since the Goonies … Martha Plimpton? I mean, you're no prize yourself, but are you kidding me? Is it cause the ugly ones always fuck like it's the last time they'll ever have the chance?
I can't tell if that's just piss in your eyes
So I gotta make the pussy cry
Seriously, what's with the hate for Wild at Heart? Fucking great movie. It might be Nic Cage's best performance and (despite the fact that some ponce(s) will surely lambast me for this) that's saying something.
Maybe YOU should make YOURSELF available in other countries. Ones that don't suck, for instance.
Don't worry. When all of the MJ fervor dies down, Joe Jackson will quickly be steppin' out of the limelight.
Wow these things are amazing.
Nah. She is, was, and forever shall be where boners go to die. And not in a "blaze of glory" kind of way.
I was having a lousy day, but that clip turned my frown upside down. Hot damn I love this show.
@Tito: I tend to avoid long films in theaters as well, but Grindhouse was a great experience. During the intermission, my friends and I stepped out for a fat joint and cigarettes, and returned suitably recharged / high for the second half. Missed the fake trailers, but that's what YouTube is for.
Naw, it's Seijun Suzuki.
I was 7 or 8 years old
when I got my first Walkman. I got 1 tape with it, and it was the Jackson 5's greatest hits. I remember taking a trip up the East Coast with my Dad that summer and wearing that tape out … "I Want You Back", "ABC", "Rockin' Robin", "The Love You Save" … I was mesmerized by it all.
Jimmy Cliff
When I was probably 13, I saw an SNL rerun from the 1st or 2nd season with Jimmy Cliff performing "The Harder They Come" and "Many Rivers to Cross" and it blew me away. I'd heard Bob Marley before, but this was my first exposure to any other reggae … love at first listen.
RIP
Jacko is forever on his backo.
Danny Elfman's best work was with Oingo Boingo. His Simpsons theme is great, but most of his scores I can take or leave.
Even at 50,
she was still smokin'. Her Playboy shoot back in the 90's was a high-water mark of my masturbating career.
I thought I'd wiped those from my mind, Aaron T. Thanks for reminding me.
I respect ZMF's opinions and all but he's dead wrong about Transformers 2 (it may have other champions among these ranks, but ZMF's was just the loudest). I saw it, and it fucking sucks.
