Or put the cases on little tables and have the models stand next to them. You'd think they'd have had their shit together before making Johnny Mac get out of bed.

Almost forgot …
Thanks, South Park, for that giant, ambulatory taco that poops ice cream.
That's an interesting point, Andy. Most popular music, either because it conveys the artist's own personal feelings / style or because it is driven by commercial considerations, seems intent on eliciting a preconditioned reaction from the listener. Perhaps because I'm so used to having (or at least recognizing) that…
@respected ancestor: Thanks. I suppose that was a pretty inflammatory way to broach the topic. My personal reaction to the genre has been overwhelmingly negative, but I am genuinely interested in knowing what aficionados find so captivating about it and trying to appreciate it from a different perspective.
In No Particular Order
Arrested Development - The scene when Gob is trying to swallow the key to the prison cell.

30 Rock - Basically every line of every episode, but especially:
@ancientchinesesecret:
Glad that's cleared up.
I'm with Lincoln and Gleeth. I only know her as the second best thing about Ghost Town and the crazy lady with the epileptic dog from Flight of the Conchords.
I Don't Get It
Krautrock has always struck me as affectless, masturbatory, avant-garde bullshit. I think I've given Can and Neu! and Kraftwerk all a fair chance, and while I can appreciate the value of experimentation and I can respect their lasting influence, I just find the music totally joyless.
My brain hurts.
Except that Paramount and CBS are both still owned by Viacom and even though Paramount no longer handles any TV production, the vast majority of CBS-produced shows are branded as CBS/Paramount Television (A Viacom Company), possibly because Paramount handles the DVD manufacture for the titles, all of which leaves me…
Can't we all just get along?
@Ovoid: You hardly wrote anything at all, and certainly not an ungodly amount. Honestly, your opinion on the matter is pretty ill-defined, given its importance.
I didn't see the set, but I have a number of friends who did. They all have excellent and eclectic taste in music. Some were fans of Metallica, others not so much, but they all said it was absofuckinglutely amazing, and I'm inclined to believe them.
I think it's a perfectly valid explanation, but it isn't a justification. Clearly the writers do have more of an interest in tackling larger social problems, and it might not be an issue if they actually did a decent job of it. They are partly hamstrung by the fact that the show is on a major network, but these days…
Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman
I had never heard of this, but it sounds rather fantastic.
Of course, sillypants. Mind mixing me another Ocean Breeze while you're up?
I Respectfully Disagree
This has probably been said in some form or fashion, but I don't have enough time to read through all of the comments.
A- ?
Are you for real? Last week's episode featured a couple of great musical numbers and plenty of good one-liners, yet this utterly lifeless episode with a lone song that (while not bad) had no connection to the plot gets a higher score?
Good call on Any Trouble, werdsmiff. Awesome album.
