I think they both are equally interesting and I look forward to both of them having long and interesting careers.

I guess the sort of reckless, alcoholic version we caught glimpses of in the paparazzi footage of her yelling at the guy to stop following her?

because it's a review of a movie being released?

I'm confused by your Cage comparisons.

The thing about that statement is it also applies to Bernie Sanders.

I was going to comment about only getting the male correspondents, but then, looking at that photo, there is only one official female correspondent since Jessica left? They need to bump Michelle Wolf up to full correspondent already.

I don't know if it will bomb, but I'd imagine her Woody Allen one will make more, what with a big name writer/director and quite a few big name actors.

My problem is with you citing the ONE Black Lives Matter protest that involved a fucking shooting.

He's got a pretty good bit about traveling to America to finally be considered "black" and right when he got off the plane, a guy came up to him and started speaking Spanish.

Um, maybe it's the way I'm reading it, but specifically mentioning the Black Lives Matter protest where cops were shot when there were a number of them all around the country seems… not so good?

Colbert seems to be doing some of that too, though obviously less than when he was on the Colbert Report.

I guess I've only seen clips on YouTube and assumed it was Monday through Thursday.

I can't believe I forgot him. I guess it's a little different, being once a week, but yeah.

Claire Danes?

I don't understand why people who don't find him funny care that he's the host. I understand missing Jon Stewart, but there are at least three Daily Shows now. You can pick Larry Wilmore, Samantha Bee, or Trevor Noah. There's really nothing special about the Daily Show name.

no, he's saying the interview itself is good, but the introduction sucks.

I would definitely say his interviews are intended as fairly standard fluff talk show interviews. I think I saw him criticize a guy once and then let the guy respond and moved on.

Oof! Really? I think he's my favorite. I could do with less Jordan. He is sometimes funny and sometimes too goofy, but mostly he's just given way more screen time than everyone else.

I read an interesting interview with him where he briefly discussed how people don't really respond so well to an angry black man so he has to really pick and choose when to let his frustration show.
