The movie was a pretty hard reboot (kill his wife and take his kid away [though getting his kid back is part of the plot]) and the writer who created Zoolander, Drake Sather, had committed suicide.

I went to this movie after another while I was already in theater and still wanted my money back. I guess karma is real.

I really enjoyed Dark Horse, particularly Aasif Mandvi.

I saw all that. I guess what threw me was that it seemed like it went from them in the woods with their forbidden love to them in the city being pretty open about it (including in front of the leader's parents). And then cut back to the woods.
