Innervisions is my pick for top Stevie album. I love the synth sounds he got on it, especially on 'Too High' and 'Golden Lady' and 'Don't You Worry 'Bout a Thing' is maybe his most fun song, which is saying something.
I just listened to Slanted for the first time in ages yesterday. It sounded like a group of friends just playing in a garage on a Saturday afternoon. I especially took note of how the drums sounded like they were about to fall apart at any moment.
