I would hate it if California left the country, but it's a great idea for a comic book.

My wife has a legit crush on him, but she also married me so her tastes are all over the map.
Boy, am I glad I called that guy.
I love how his Len character on 30 Rock resonated so much with at least one person at AVClub because I don't think there's been a recent Buscemi article that doesn't reference 'Hello, fellow kids.' Len's character arc throughout the show is pretty dramatic for a once-a-season recurring character: Hard-nosed PI to…
If you are concerned about looks, down cushions are not the way to go, even a down-wrapped poly core is a gamble. If all you're interested in is comfort, down is a great choice.
I would go as far as to say don't buy upholstered furniture not made in the US or Canada (if you live here). There are some really good manufacturers in Virginia, North Carolina, and the Pacific Northwest and some of them have production videos on YouTube where you can see exactly what goes into the furniture. You're…
I've had a lot of experience selling furniture and I've noticed people are generally unprepared or under-informed when they purchase a sofa. For one thing, a sofa is something you should take care of. Rotate the cushions, fluff them if they are down-filled, spot clean the fabric (sometimes you can take the covers off…
IKEA is cheap quality, but I wouldn't say it is overpriced. My IKEA bed was like $100 and lasted surprisingly long considering it was made of little more than 4 wooden planks and 8 bolts. And I gave it away when I moved in with my now-wife, there wasn't even anything wrong with it really.
I like the little side comparison to High Fidelity as it is fairly easy to see Gordon-Levitt's character progressing (regressing?) into a Rob Gordon-type (is Summer his Charlie Nichols?). They even both have training as architects! High Fidelity is a far better movie, though, in my opinion.
Easy with that one, he's from Dubuque.
In my house, soup tends to be a meal made from previous meals.
I like Manhattan clam chowder sometimes because it's usually a little spicy and I like that, but a really good New England will always be superior to me.
So, I can record my band playing in a basement and AVClub will put it in a newswire? Good to know.
Upstream Color is a good choice, plus it has a nice vengeance angle and adorable piglets.
Michel is too much of an asshole for me to consider Breathless romantic. It is really good though.
Soundtrack is really good. Coppola movies routinely have great soundtracks/scores.
The guys in the recording crack up when he says it, I almost think it was an inside joke. Or they were just high as hell.
Well, if you want goat testicles, there's really no other place to go.
Were they adult goat testicles? Because those things can be huge, like bigger than a grapefruit. At that point, it would really be cosmetic surgery more than anything else.
If Linklater had any balls as a filmmaker, it would be. Goat balls, that is.
