I've been rooting for the Chiefs this season. I've always liked Andy Reid, even though his in-game decisions can be extremely frustrating, and would like to see him win it all after coming so close in Philly. And I cheer for Alex Smith since he pretty much got shafted by San Fran (can't say it was a bad decision

Thank goodness. I can't stand Magary's writing and much prefer B&T.

Has anyone stopped to ask Bill if he's lost?

I can't wait for the Danger Mouse mash-up record with Lemonade, Arnold Palmer.

And here's the requisite Miranda Lambert nomination:

This is one of the Country Solo Perfomance nominees:

I think it works as a country song, but it could also be considered straight pop or rock-country. The Grammy's did at least nominate some decent country songs this year, so it's hard to complain about 'Daddy Lessons' not getting in there. What's funny is they nominated 'Blue Ain't Your Color' (easily the best thing

Eh, it was okay. I don't remember the press release though.

Hey, cool, they're coming to my town! And playing an appropriately intimate venue! And I like this song!

I've only seen the trailer, but I love the way it was filmed.

Like Marah, I don't whisk my eggs before I put them in the pan. This definitely makes them less fluffy, but I don't really look for that. I like a distinct white and yolk part to my eggs, so I crack the eggs into warm butter over low heat, add salt and pepper, and gently stir the egg whites with a spatula, always

That's my father's usual method. I'll do it from time to time as well, if, like Marah, I'm not interested in dirtying another pan/dish. I save my bacon fat for cooking other things, so I just leave a thin coat on the pan to cook the eggs (although I think this works best with over-easy eggs).

A favorite in my household is adding Chinese leftovers to eggs. Fried rice and something with a lot of vegetables is usually best. It comes out looking not the most appetizing, but it's a great breakfast and a pretty good hangover cure.

At least he isn't pretending to be drunker than he is, which I suspect some of the narrators do.

He knew Disco Duck?!

This reminds me of Patrice O'Neal's bit about his mother being held at gunpoint:

Is there a gin out there that doesn't use juniper berries in it's distilling? Seems like it might be impossible to replicate the flavor, but I'm unfortunately allergic to juniper extracts. I found this out because I loved drinking gin and kept getting these mysterious hives. I would like to keep drinking gin, but

I was punched in the face on the bus when I was in kindergarten. My nose started bleeding and I didn't know you could bleed from your nose, so it was terrifying. The boy who punched me was named Travis and he wore brown corduroys and now I always associate the name Travis with brown corduroys (but not punching or

But compared to Rory and Paris, she seemed a lot happier. She still has her band, plus a cool jazz duo thing at the secret bar with her husband. I was actually a little envious - I wouldn't mind working in an antique shop either!
