Is this some shit where people learn to believe in themselves or whatever and the monster is like Jesus or their dead dad?

Agree on 'In The Fade' - Mark Lanegan in his sweet spot and the best riff on the album.
Great live act, especially if they have a bassist backing them up. Each album of theirs probably has four or five really good songs, some okay ones and a couple duds. I would say Featuring 'Birds' is probably their strongest, but The Sword of God is the one I listen to the most.
I just want to add that Krumholtz's scene in the pit in This Is the End is the best part of the movie.
'Last night's episode was a very special episode. They revealed the Incredible Hulk has an evil twin and he's not green. He's red.'
What school is on that beautiful campus? I want to send my kids there.
That was a really good movie. Krumholtz is perfect as the asshole brother, but it also has great performances from Alan Arkin, Marissa Tomei, and, briefly, Carl Reiner. It's a better 'teen' movie than anything that came out around the same time, even though it's gets pretty tense and dark.
Polka: shitty dancing to hide shittier music
'In the beginning there was nothing. It was the last time music was good.'
The Tony Luke's one stood out, but Tony Luke's not going to let a chance to promote himself slip by.
Hey Bobby, who's got the better muffins: Giada or Katie Lee?
Hmmm…that sounds kind of kinky. I approve.
So, like, pre-The Temptations?
I think it's fair to say he is a 'fringe player in the broader scheme of popular music.' It's not like he's one of the Bee Gees or Quincy Jones.
Pertinent:
Tonight's the Night and On the Beach are such dark, depressing pieces of work, only Neil Young could shrug them off and make something like Trans later. And then Harvest Moon after that. And then Broken Arrow.
It started bad, but I'll concede it got better by the end. It reads as an audition for a 33 1/3 volume.
'Given to Fly' is really good despite naysayers who claim it rips off 'Going To California'
'Corduroy' I feel is cliche because it is basically 'Pearl Jam - The Song' but it is definitely my favorite of theirs. And 'I Got Id' is great as well.
If The Bling Ring had been more like Spring Breakers, now that would've been a perfect movie.
