I see your point, but no one you just listed is still on the show, which causes me to question it. Also, 'moderately omnipresent' makes no sense.

Man, if Collective Soul's success was fleeting, it sure wasn't where I lived. They must've had seven or eight songs in the span of five years that were played daily on my local rock stations.
I liked Placeholder's first album, but by '96 I had moved on to jungle.
I'm giving this article a pass on that stuff since the intent seems to be to focus on solely the kind of rock that was being played on mainstream radio and MTV, but 1996 was a great year for tons of other kinds of music and is maybe my favorite music year.
Oh poor, sweet Canada…
It's definitely a players' record. I'm a fan of the guitar solo.
The article cuts down 'Trippin' on a Hole' somewhat, but I remember it being a pretty big hit locally at the time and it's probably my favorite STP song now. Not that that says much.
GET ON YOUR FEET!
The first half of S7 was bookended by two awesome scenes: Freddy's pitch to the camera (written by Don) and Bert Cooper's posthumous song and dance. Everything else in between was a bit of a let down. But, then, I haven't rewatched it since the original air, so maybe I will feel differently when I do.
I don't want it to make sense, I want it to be funny. I'm imagining a screenshot of the Trump/Pence 60 minutes interview with Pete's quote 'while you were talking I stuck a thumbtack in my neck. Makes me feel something.' God, that would be good. Ahhhhh…..
I thought they were going to end it with Ricky's flop on the floor in Better Off Dead, but just went with him laying there instead. So close. Still, points to the editors for including Mia Sara's head flip from the parade scene in Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
'The boat I was educated on sank.'
Yikes!
Trump hates the troupes!
I love this. I would also like a Hilary-based one with Tracy Jordan quotes, mostly using the face she makes when she's really excited. And a Mike Pence one with Pete quotes. Or Tim Kaine with Kenneth quotes. The possibilities are so good with all those.
In the words of Condoleeza Rice, 'Mars Attacks! is awesome.'
I liked Hole's version of 'Gold Dust Woman'. It seemed like the perfect song for Courtney Love to cover. I always liked it better when Hole's work was a little dark and snarling.
That memory is too vivid not to be my own.
Maybe that should be a new assignment, O'Neal writing about random topics in art/pop-culture. I would like to see him tackle ballet. Or dance ballet. Either would probably be entertaining.
Hearing the original 'Ghost Rider' blew my feeble mind after first hearing the Rollins version.
