I liked parts of Bowling with Columbine, but it tackled a big question poorly.  Sicko felt more intimate to human beings, and Roger & Me was Moore when he was just a kid: idealistic and not prone to gimmicky cartoons and stock footage.

I think some were deists, but don't sign my name on that.

That's a fair criticism.  Why these shows don't shoot here in Astoria, I don't know.  You can't throw a bagel without hitting a Muslim person.  Not that you should throw bagels at them, especially one with lox and kippers and that cream cheese that I like.

Mad Men may have gotten better later on, but the first two episodes did not draw me into it.  Have yet to watch Downton Abbey, but British people at least have the courtesy to white it up Biggie-style.

Annyong was not white and quite selfless.

And to be fair to Bored to Death, pretty sure Jonathon was Jewish.

Black people were only around for slavery and the civil rights movement.

I don't want them to have a token black character, but I think the criticism would be more notable if there were a lot of guest stars in the show.  Friends gets that criticism rightly, though Seinfeld was much better about it.
