Why the Longmire hate?  Don't even review the second season premiere if it's just gonna be an excuse for a snarkfest. I love Breaking Bad and Mad Men and so on but a well made procedural with attractive actors and a fairly unusual setting - it's enjoyable. If you don't enjoy it, clam up. A lot of this hate seems to be

When I saw Debbie Reynolds's name in the credits I had to rewind and watch her scenes again. I was impressed by the actress on first viewing but had no clue who it was. I think she knocked me out more in her brief scenes more than the other very fine performances. really helped explain who Liberace was.

OK I saw this yesterday and enjoyed it, it's fun, blah blah, but I have a couple pointless plot questions to ask….well one is plot, anyway…

I once watched most Mad Men episodes twice. Haven't for a long time, and even deleted this one from my DVR out of habit. But I set it up again to record a repeat of this great episode, despite the flashbacks, which I dislike. I'll just skip over those scenes second time through.

I agree the dock scene was great fun but two questions:
Why wasn't it raining? Or even wet? It seemed to be happening at the same time as the prom, which was during a downpour.
And seriously, that body isn't going far, is it? Guess the sheriff figures he has complete control of his department, because that body is

Oops I hadnt read these comments when I posted above wondering about a twist. My thinking wasn't the BF thing, though, because I forgot that detail. The cut throat seemed a bit too neat…not classic Norman Bates. If the last shot had been her cut to ribbons, I would think we know it is Norman…

My problem with the closing shot is that it looked a bit too neat. Norman snuck up behind her and rather cleanly cut her throat? The Norman of Psycho wasn't so precise. Had me almost wondering if there isn't a twist in store….but I doubt it and hope not.

I enjoyed the episode but I felt very cheated we didnt get a "make up sex" scene between Oliver and Diggle. Oh well. Next season.

Wait, where's the bodybuilder bodyguard?

The show is very funny, I agree. There's one thing I want to see change - HIS NASTY JEANS. he seems to wear the same pair every show. There's some faded effect but it's just weird looking.   Also they are sort of tight fitting and though he seems to be in good shape the jeans make his lower half look odd.

Not to turn this thread over to Mad Men, but I'd say it's getting more than the benefit of a doubt in most corners, this season so far and last, too. Bates Motel will never get anywhere near the greatness of Mad Men as its best. I just happen to feel that Mad Men's best was the first three seasons. More and more for

The show is nuts but I don't know why that's something to complain about. I kind of, I don't know, like to tune into shows that are entertaining to watch.  Then sometimes I tune into shows that were ONCE entertaining to watch, thinking they'll get back there, like this season of Mad Men.

I can't read this review word for word - well, I can't get through it word for word, let's say. What does it or anyone else say about the flashbacks? Because all I could think is, are we supposed to say, "Of course Don is a serial cheater, he was raised in a whorehouse!"?

Second City did a great punk parody sketch a long long time ago:  The QueenHaters singing "I Hate the Bloody Queen." I'll never forget John Candy on drums, or Martin Short's accent singing "I'd like to punch her in the face, that would make me laaarf." But Armisen was pretty good.

I am not proud to admit I have seen every Duck Dynasty episode (I think).  There's something so compelling about the friction between the absolute fakeness of the set-ups, which the reviewer correctly tags as "sit-com" plotting, and the essential honesty of the Robertsons, who really do seem to be the "characters"

No.Are you saying Woody Allen is unattractive?  .

I like this show a lot, but I actually agree about the Mindy/Danny thing, to some extent.  I think Chris Messina is doing a great job, especially because the last time I saw him in a series he was a tortured Iraqi vet in season ? of Damages. Here he's very funny in a low key way. They must have been very clever in

Haven't watched the show for a couple seasons but if Harry and Darren took each other's shirts off, and continued along those lines, I would tune in. For that segment. But not if Colfer joins in.

This show and the AVClub reviews go into my "really? too bad for you" file. Same as The Mindy Project, which AVClub really have some bizarre animus for, as if praise and attention for The Mindy Project detracts from Happy Endings or whatever other show AV Club is really over hyping.

Short review - I was kinda bored.
