Said I am hopeful, not "optimistic." Most of the criticisms here center on plotting. I think that's a reductive approach to television viewing (edited - darn you autocorrect!). No one can claim higher respect for "Breaking Bad" than me, but a lot of its plotting has been open to criticism as well. Remember the dad of

I am hopeful for the third season. I watched season one and two, and I understand the criticisms - though not the juvenile animus.  What will bring me back for season three is the hope that the writers will avoid some of their past mistakes, so I can glory in the brilliant acting of the leads (and supporting cast,

I'd recommend a couple of reality TV shows (not proud to be writing those words but there you go). I think they are both on Nat Geo Wild?  First is Drugs Inc. This show goes around the world and shows the - surprise! - dark underbelly of the drug trade. How it gets all these druggies and pushers (even disguised) to

Having just seen this last night, about three weeks after Skyfall opened to such good reviews,  I have to say that the sheer beauty of some of the film-making will wear away when Skyfall is seen later on the small screen, and then its critical ranking will come down. because it makes no sense, from beginning to end.

I found last night's episode diverting, although I mentally tune out when the survivors talk sincerely to each other about this or that relationship, etc. Cannot care.

My synopsis of last night's Walking Dead:

My synopsis of last night's Walking Dead:

I gave up on The Walking Dead some time ago, although for some reason I did see most of the last episode of last season. I returned tonight and enjoyed the hour but I don't know that I'll be sticking around, at least on a regular basis.
