I wouldn't bother to argue with some of the arguments about plot problems in The Killing - I am not watching the show for plot.

I got around to this episode last night on DVR. Generally agree with the positive comments in review and here. And I read about the cancellation.

wow as a gay man twice as old as these characters,  I got to say, I hope this isn't typical of "in their twenties" straight American's sex life. Because that's some bad, sad sex. Of course it's the guy's fault! They have all these fantasies or overly verbal concerns about their partner's satisfaction…while the girls

It's interesting to me that reviewer Handlen uses the word "fun" at the end of his review, because as I was watching this episode on DVR last night, I was thinking again that the problem inherent in this show's conception and structure is that it's a downer. It's very well-made, so I do "enjoy" watching it. But I

I am not watching The Killing to find out who murdered the Larsen girl anymore than I watched Lost to find out the mystery of the island or Mad Men to find out what 60's advertising was like or etc etc etc. I avoided The Sopranos for a long time because I don't have any interest in gangsters, of any

Seriously, on watching the premiere again a couple nights ago, all I could think of is that M. Weiner was seriously whacking his Weiner while writing the Megan scenes, especially the last one. Megan cleaning the carpet in her panties and bra reeked of "masturbatory fantasy" …among other scents.

The show last night was at least a B for me. Mostly because it's just so well-directed and acted. I am not a fan of conspiracy plots in general. It's even a little odd to me to see such love for Rubicon here from people who dislike The Killing, because I enjoyed Rubicon for the same reason I like The Killing - Rubicon

Since Top Chef is all into non-cooking related obstacles to the cooking, for the finale I would like to watch Sara and Paul cook in each other's clothes. Watching Sara try to fit into Paul's skinny jeans would be as much fun, if not more, as watching her ski. I am not sure there's be any fun in seeing Paul in Sara's

I am really late to the party, not just this thread but Sopranos - I am watching it from the beginning just as of a month ago.  No, I did not know what I was missing. Amazing show.

Last week I read some negative stuff about how slow the show is, and the New Yorker review. But I tuned in (through HBOGo) and I am glad I did. I don't give a rats behind about horse racing, but then again, I can't claim a big interest in meth production or advertising. Great shows are great shows. Luck seems headed

When I read this column a few days ago I meant to comment but was at work, and very very strangely, actually busy…so days later when no one could possible care, here I am….

I gave up when it was revealed that Kiefer character's wife had died 9/11. So this show is going to show us how everything in the universe follows inexorable, mysterious laws…most of will never understand but the special amongst will…such as TV show creators…

As great an exit as the Gus death scene was, I hope BB doesn't keep trying to top itself with such scenes. BB will remain a great series for a lot more than these occasional blasts of shock.
