I still think Prime Suspect had the best pilot of the season, dated-sexism and all, but Homeland — if it's able to maintain what it achieves in the first two episodes (the garage reveal is terrific) and to stay away from what gets bogged down with in the third (no spoilers, just "assets"), then it'll be great stuff.

Considering that both this show and Walking Dead are about depicting hideous people, it's no surprise that the makeup team really goes all out.

Agreed. He'd make a most disturbing Emcee in Cabaret, too.

I guess I just don't see the point in playing multiplayer to a point where you just camp other teams and p0wn them. It's why I'm not really a fan of the FPS genre in general, and is probably why I so harshly critic a game that depends so heavily on an exploitable multiplayer (as opposed to single-player or campaign)

Clearly you missed the part where I said *not* just for the new multiplayer.

Exactly. MotS syndrome: more of the same. Give us something original, something clever, something *satisfying* — don't just try to keep milking us. Give me a reason to want to play GoW3 instead of GoW2 — and not just for the new multiplayer.

Yeah, I thought that for a moment when Josh Charles came out of the elevator.

Rough portmanteau, but given that it actually applies to the Kirby experience, I'll allow it.

Agreed. Anthony, that's a killer line, pun intended.

I read this as "flow a master Master Chief would admire" and got all confused.

Yeah. I mean, maybe the game gets better, but I could only play through the first two acts before I bored-quit and returned the game. Granted, the multiplayer may be fun, but from a single-player experience, the pacing is waaaay off, the story is nonsensical (the whole football stadium sequence), the gameplay is

That's what made the judge's question to him ("Have you ever been in a fist fight?") so fitting.

It is indeed a time of new beginnings. New title sequence, in which Alicia is now smiling and *not* holding Peter's hand, looser appearances and attitudes, and great new rivalries/alliances. Plus, Eli really got some great zingers off tonight.

I'd say that the acting during the orgasm scene was even better. And what was up with her being turned on by the sound of Will's neighbors' kids? Hard to make your mouth quiver in an apparently uncontrollable way — though I'm told there are people out there who are *very* good at faking it.

I don't think he was being arrogant; I think he was genuinely trying to figure out where he now fit into things. Or rather, I don't think he was *just* being arrogant. I think there was more to it than that.

I loved seeing just how organized Gus was, as compared to Walt. See, Gus plans for the future; Walt is convinced that he *has* no future, so he plans only for the present. That's generally what gets a criminal caught.

Problem: I wouldn't know what to believe in. Every time I think someone's right . . . or wrong . . . something else happens to make me reconsider. I can get behind blindly following Vince Gilligan, though. Well, maybe not blindly: I'd be really sad if I couldn't see all the excellent stuff he's packing the story and

Wow, that's something I had no idea happened. Seems like there's really good potential for a short story or something in that premise.

He definitely mentioned this on the show. I don't know if he was talking to the camera or to his competition, but he didn't seem to be letting anything go to his head.

Didn't they make the switch to HD last year? ::shrug:: I don't actually pay that much attention to the way the people look (or sweat) — it's all about the locations to me.
