I love Fringe, but I'm glad it's ending.  It's been great, but I think it's reaching it's natural endpoint.

Yeah, as much as I adore Zooey Deschanel (don't judge me!), I think she's become the least essential character on the show.  The way the three guys play off each other and the Schmidt-Cece relationship are my favorite parts of the show.  But I still love to look at Zooey's big blue eyes - sigh.

Actually, in SLJ's commercial, Siri helps him obtain organic mushrooms for his risotto.  GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR ASS!

Regardless of their feelings toward Zooey Deschanel, everyone who likes good television comedy should watch New Girl, as it has grown into a very good TV comedy - good writing, great jokes, great cast and great chemistry among the cast.

American Pastoral and The Plot Against America are my favorites among his "recent" work, and Portnoy's Complaint is as far as I know his most famous and well-regarded book (it's funny as hell too).
