I could be wrong here, but it's my understanding that the mechanisms those three used to move across universes had negative effects on the fabric and stability of at least one of the universes, whereas the bridge created by the machine didn't cause these problems (and even started to fix the damage already done).  So

Having grown up on the NY/PA border, I can attest that eastern PA as a whole is pretty shady area.

I hope the internet magically creates a GIF of Allison Brie in her suit doing her victory dance.  Come on Internet, do it!

Coster-Waldau and Matt Bomer should have a contest to see who is the best at suit-wearing.  It's a suit off!

The man saves the lives of hundreds of thousands at King's Landing and all people want to talk about is one eensy-weensy little kingslaying.

"There’s also occasional comic relief, like a retired woman who claims to
have served 40 johns a day at her peak, and has the graphic stories to
prove it."

Wow, I thought I was the only person who cares enough about other people to wait until a noisy scene to open up my loud food/beverage containers.

This doesn't bother me so much, because at least these people like the paintings enough to want to take a picture of it, and it doesn't take away from my own enjoyment of the piece I'm looking at (unlike texting in a theater, which is very distracting).

Not the monkey, just his anatomical namesake and the human female attached to them.

I don't remember anything from the books suggesting that Jeyne or the Westerlings will become important again going forward.  Jeyne seemed more like a plot device (necessary to bring about Robb's eventual downfall) than an integral character, and the Westerlings, though an old noble family (sworn to the Lannisters),

It gives emotional depth to the character! OK, not really.

I'm not arguing whether or not Karl is an idiot, but I think your reasons for believing he is not an idiot aren't valid.  Perhaps Karl thinks in a vastly "different" way, but so do idiots.  Similarly, perhaps his statements and beliefs may make "some minuscule shred of sense" but the same can probably be said of many

Perhaps the reviewer used "infectious" accidentally instead of "affected"?

I'm so with you on Bent.  I had never heard about it until I read a TV Club review, so I checked it out and it was very good.  So of course NBC burned it off and it shall never be seen again.

C'mon Janny, show me your ham and eggs!

Looks like Cash Cab is now……off duty

So David doesn't feel emotion, but he can process it and simulate appropriate responses…so he's got Mitt Rmney beat, amiright?  Hey-O!

This Chloe Bridges who played Nick's date looks like Olivia Thirlby and Angelina Jolie had a baby, i.e. perfect.

Winston is the white bread one, obs.

My favorite line of the call was after Schmidt had asked some of his questions and Nick asks him something like "So…do you want hang out more…?"
