You're probably right. After five seasons they haven't established much of a personality for her, unlike, say, Joan Callamezzo who can dominate an episode with just a few minutes of screen time.  I just really like Shauna Mulwae-Tweep and welcome any excuse to see more of her.  But I guess I feel that way about any of

I grew up in a town of 1300 people in the Rocky Mountains, and the first time I went down the big slide in my pre-school playground, I got my picture (with a long caption) in the town's weekly newspaper.

Shauna's journalism is pretty soft, hence her absence from the election episodes. Which I guess means that Perd Hapley is the hardest hitting journalist in town. (Joan Callamezzo is more of an info-tainment personality.) For all we know about Shauna, her career may just be a vehicle to try to get dates.

I thought season five was perfectly fine (except for Julianne Moore, who I normally love), and anything with Avery Jessup was great.  Season six is where they seemed to run out of ideas, with more than half the episodes being forgettable or grating, in my opinion.  They built up Avery so much that Elizabeth Banks'

It's genius asides like that which make the AV Club my first stop for entertainment news.

My pick for a theatrical musical would be "Who's That Woman" —when the mirror/tinsel suddenly dropped from the rafters I couldn't believe it (little did I know what Loveland had in store for me).  It ties together all of the difficult elements of the production and prepares you for what happens later with Loveland.

Even people who are not Fuller fans can appreciate Forty Guns.  I think it is the best of the gender reversal Westerns of the fifties.  And it still can be quite shocking, like when 50 year old Barbara Stanwyck gets dragged by the horse, because it just didn't look right with a stunt double.

Almost every Fuller film has something to strongly recommend it as his best.  Best western? I would definitely say Forty Guns.  Best noir?  Pickup on South Street.  Best social problem film? Shock Corridor.  My personal favorite is The Naked Kiss because my interest tends toward the purient.

Did anybody else think Megan Fox was good in this?  Her scene in the car with Leslie Mann was really good.  I found her quite warm and funny, the opposite of how I previously saw her.  Maybe she can steer her career in a more comedic or substantial direction with Team Apatow's help.

This works well for this film since it's a collection of episodes with minimal thrust in the plot.  Watching it in intervals might actually impose a dramatic structure to it.

I second Bertolt Blech — the film assumes everyone has seen the Lost finale already and shows the ending.  You can wait for this movie to come out on DVD or cable.

I don't understand why she doesn't have more of a leading lady career.  She carries this movie well, so hopefully she'll get bigger roles more often.  She's funny and she's a fox.
