But, I really enjoy rappers rapping about how good they are at rapping. My favorite type of Hip Hop.

The new show from Starz Survivor's Remorse also tackled this issue in its second episode. I have only seen two episodes of it but, it was much better than I expected. I am surprised there has been no coverage of the show here.
I like that one a little better but my problem was not really with the production or the hook. My issue was it was a weak attempt to sort of update Common's classic track I Used to Love Her.
That Leaving Las Vegas joke was maybe too mean spirited.
He even made Paul Wall sound semi decent and found an effective way to use Chief Keef.
My favorite Kweil/Kanye is still Guerrilla Monsoon Rap. Talib Kweli, Black Thought and Pharoahe Monch all killed that Kanye Beat.
Jay-Z only released one album between American Gangster and Watch the Throne. Plus he had some killer guest verses like the ones he had on So Appalled and Light it Up.
It took a while until Jay-Z to really make his mark on the mainstream charts. To date Empire State of Mind is his only #1 single as a lead artist.
That album was ok but, it had my two of my favorite beats ever. The aforementioned 6th sense and J Dilla's beat on the Light which is one of the few times I would refer to a Hip Hop track as beautiful.
Even though he is a narcissist(but, then again most musicians/artists are going to usually have some form of narcissism) his best skill is his ability to collaborate with others. Has anyone ever said that Kanye was a difficult artist to work with?
Homecoming is probably my least favorite song on Graduation. A really corny extended metaphor on that song.
I actually find Be to be Common's Best Album.
"So who is the one sucking it up"? I am surprised that line was allowed on network television.
"There no music in it just Niggas talking"
Nice to see this getting good reviews. Chris Rock is my favorite standup comedian ever but he has failed to transition that to the big screen.
I did not know Ahmad Rashad played in the NFL(also Gold Medalist swimmer Summer Sanders was also a host) until I was like 14. I though he was just a random reporter who had a relationship with Michael Jordan. It shows the power and influence Jordan had on the NBA that just being Jordan's friend got him a job hosting…
I really do not think Oliver Platt's was a negative portrayal. Especially with the ending.
I honestly only watch to follow along the comment section here. This comment section always gives me consistent laughs.
Heath Ledger's character also said that in 10 Things I Hate About You.
I think a large portion of the viewership just wants to see bad ass bikers shoot shit up. If that is why you are tuning in you are extremely satisfied with this season. Each his own and all of that.
